So yeah, we have a lot of people, more than 200, actually 300 now, for more than 35, 40 countries. And everyone brings something different. So who else? So who could see themselves as the future neighbors? Obviously, you need to know way more things. But with the vibe now, please write me, type me in the chat. If you feel... That might be something interesting. Nice. Nice, nice, nice, nice.

So what made them all say yes? We're going to discover all of this very soon. But before that, just we want to do a small introduction so you know who's going to talk to you in the next three days. So my name is Vivien. I am the founder of Nelexus, the co-founder of Amara with my colleague Gonzalo. So since more than 10 years, I have this feeling that we can do so much better as a humanity. that we can build.

spaces and place to live, to be more connected to ourselves, to others. and to nature. And it came from a feeling of frustration of seeing too many people around me that were not living the life they want to live. people that were stressed, that were in a job they don't like, people that were in life situations they don't like, and this was making me very sad. But I discovered some places, some festivals, some villages, some events where I felt, I had this feeling that something else was possible.

That another way of living was possible, where we are more free, where we are more connected to ourselves, where we can be the person that we really are, deepest inside of us. So that's where I had the first intuitions of creating this place. But I didn't know how to make this happen. Creating a village, creating a place to live, it felt way too big. So at this time, I decided to start by creating a meditation and yoga app named Evola.

It worked very well. It was my activity for seven years. We reached more than 1 million downloads. We made more than 4 million euros of revenue. It was great. But one and a half years ago, I felt that it was time to focus on this life mission, on this project that I felt since all these years because I had way more clarity. on how to make this happen. And when I took this decision, I was invited by Balaji, who's a very famous investor that's invested in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Airbnb, Coinbase, and many other companies. And he wrote this very interesting book.

The network states where he explains that places like Amara are going to change the way we live in this world. And he really loved the project and he actually invited me in his place in Singapore for free and to come to see him and to talk about Amara. And actually, At this time, I also met my dear Michael and he will explain a bit who he is.

I'm Michael, Michael.

Originally, I was born in France and I'm originally Indian from Madagascar. And I went to live in Canada for the last 10 years before moving in Lisbon. And this is where I discovered a new way of living in Montreal, It was being between my culture from Madagascar and my new origin in France. But then in Montreal, I was in McGill with international people studying very different type of subject and coming from all around the world.

And this is where I discovered that, wow, this is kind of my passion. the diversion where I feel the best with people bringing different type of energy and perspective on life. So, After my study, I became an angiologist. I opened one clinic, two clinic, three clinic. And then I realized, wow, I'm just here for the sake of making money. I had my life at work and my life after work. And I decided to change everything to kind of go for my ikigai.

the sake of it. So I decided to go there and thinking that over there maybe I will find people that are in the same, have the same perfect perspective and not long time after actually maybe a year, a year and a half after I started already started doing my concept of the balance experience bringing those type of people in FML events and then I met Vivian that told me that he found this beautiful land.

Actually a friend told me that a friend found a land and he wanted to do the same concept as me. So we get together, start working on it, and we find Gonzalo, the guy that will be building the place that will interest you right now. Great.

Yes, this is actually the people that I met through my journey that actually made me change. I was an audiologist and I met them and they were doing some beautiful work, advocate for the UN, creating movies, talking about the respect of the nature of the diversity of people. And they really encouraged me to chase my dream and go forward. this project actually. And my friend Max as well, he actually now a co-creator, he studied with me, he's from Madagascar, he studied with me in Canada and he went on to be the Minister of Environment of Madagascar.

Thank you, Michael. And we have Gonzalo also, who's the real estate developer of the project, an amazing human that gets the project from the deepest intention. And you are going to meet him tomorrow. So tomorrow is a very important day, and Gonzalo will be live with us.

All the technical questions, shift him at him. He'll be the one answering. Yeah, he's coming tomorrow.

It's 45 seconds. And I will play the video now. Hello. My name is Gonçalo.

I come from a family of builders. I'm a real estate developer and a project manager. I joined the Amara founding team Very happy and excited to see that We were going to respect the principles which I built upon the last seven years where I started my own development company focused on natural materials and circular systems.

This project is very exciting for me because we are one hour and 15 minutes away from Lisbon. We're on the second biggest fresh body of water in Portugal. and we have a license to build the highest standard of residential and hospitality project.

This project is an hour and 15 minutes from Lisbon.

FAM is a real estate development company, meaning they are building and selling real estate all across Portugal. They have more than 15 years of experience in this. They have a track record all across Portugal and internationally. They have more than 30 projects delivered and it's a big and beautiful company. They have one of the beautiful places Created is the Charm Nature Hotel. So Gonzalo build it and now own it.

It's an eco-friendly hotel made of eco-friendly materials. a beautiful place and we actually have a surprise about this place that you will discover tomorrow. A few words about our partners and we're going in the deep of the subjects in a few seconds. So we have Nexus, you will get to know it a bit later, FAM. The city of Tomar, which is welcoming us.

They have a thousand people on the call. I mean, they rock the odds, so they're good marketers. Damn. They like, they paid for ads, got a sign up list, they said, "The call's in three days, the call's in two days from now, the call's in one day from now." Or it was a week, he signed up a week ago, so a week or something before that.

We have Mu Labs, which is a neuroscience company, and you will understand why. We have our architects, Otto and Infinity Design. Climate farmers that will help us for the regeneration of the land, our lawyers Vasconcelos and Portugal 2030.

We are disconnected. Disconnected from ourself, disconnected from others, and disconnected from nature.

a place where your life cannot fall more simply, without rushing, without pretending, without having to compromise what matters most.

You will see why where you live matters more than what you do. What more than 200 people from 20 countries already know that you don't and something that might change the way you see your own life.

Tomorrow you will live an immersion in the elegant and natural design of Amara. You will see where your life is. The secret of ingredients that makes Amara a catalyst for growth. Also the return on investment you could expect in just 3 years. And the secret element that makes a property there unique. And also the opening of applications to live in Amara. And Thursday, you will see why you might not be accepted as a resident, how you can live in a space that's beautiful, smart, regenerative, without compromise.

the reality. So what you've been saying, yes, we see that it's AI. It's the architect that done it with the AI technology. But it's Pretty much the reality. We worked precisely with the architect to make all those renders quite official, at least. There's some of the things that are not on scale, but 85, 80, 85% of this, the houses are on scale completely. And the main facilities are not yet, yet right on scale. So the trees, the visibility is a bit different.

But you can estimate 80% that is quite. Yeah.

Where were you? Now think about the Aldous period. Where were you then? Take a bit of time to breathe and to really visualize these things. So every turning point in your life happens somewhere. The place was never a coincidence. The people you became friends with. The ideas that change you. The moments that shaped who you are. They all happen inside an environment. So as James Clear said in his book Atomic Habits, you don't rise to the level of your goals.

you fall to the level of your environment. So in Okinawa, in Sardinia and Ikaria, people live up to 100 years. Not from diets, not from exercise programs, Not from genetics. but from how the environment is structured. Walkable villages, social rituals, every day. garden outside every door, a sense of purpose built into daily life. Okinawa had a longer life expectancy in Japan for 30 years. Then the younger generation adopt a Western lifestyle, fast food, cars, offices, Isolation And by 2000, Okinawa dropped from first place to the place 20th out of 47 prefectures in longevity, all within a single
